Self-Deceived
We had not even prayed rightly. We had always said,
“Grant me my wishes” instead of “Thy will be done.” The
love of God and man we understood not at all. Therefore
we remained self-deceived, and so incapable of receiving
enough grace to restore us to sanity.

- Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, p. 32

Thought to Ponder . . .
Prayer asks the question. Meditation listens for the answer.

AA-related 'Alconym' . . .
F R O G = Fully Rely On God.

Thanks to all of you for sharing so generously of your experience, strength and hope in carrying the AA message.
In grateful service,
