This Solution
But the ex-problem drinker who has found this solution,
who is properly armed with facts about himself,
can generally win the entire confidence of another alcoholic
in a few hours. Until such an understanding is reached,
little or nothing can be accomplished.
- Alcoholics Anonymous, p. 18

Thought to Ponder
Together we can do what we could never do alone.

Pammy and I have alcoholism. In early sobriety hubby and the kids dealt with me with kid gloves, thinking any drama would send me back out. And my then sponsor would ask me of my past and say, "No wonder you drank." When I got the sponsor I have now she observed how my family was with me and told them out right, "She aint no dainty flower, look at what she survived." And she looked at me and said, "Stop milking it and use your faith more." Now when asked about certain areas of my life, I just talk about how I overcame it. That's where I need to be constantly. My family today doesn't walk on eggshells because they have more trust and faith in me, that I can and will deal with it in a postive manner. We are growing together in unity, much better than the way it was before. Thank you.
