For it is only by accepting and solving our problems that we can begin
to get right with ourselves and with the world about us, and with Him
who presides over us all. Understanding is the key to right principles and
attitudes, and right action is the key to good living; therefore the joy of
good living is the theme of A.A.'s Twelfth Step.

Thought to Ponder
Is the life I'm living the life that wants to live in me?

Hi, Joni alcoholic. I was thinking of the reading in one of our books about the person who sets the stage, wants all to perform as he says and he flips out when things don't go his way. That was me. Today I find it too much work to try to control outcomes. And I have good AA'ers in my life, including my husband who reel me in and remind me of who is in charge. And it's not me.
