If we are painstaking about this phase of our development,
we will be amazed before we are half way through.
We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness.
We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it.
We will comprehend the word serenity and we will know peace.

Thought to Ponder
AA is not something we join; it's a way of life.

Hi, Anne-Marie alcoholic. I went to a funeral for a very special lady this morning. She was 81 years old. I knew there were going to be alot of people I had not seen for years. I wasn't very good at keeping in touch in my drinking days. It worried me for a couple of minutes beforehand how to approach them, but then I realized today was not about me at all. Today I could just look them straight in the eye and ask them how they were doing. And actually listen to their answer! We prayed in church, out loud, and afterwards I was able to do just that. I felt so happy with God's guidance and everything to program has taught me. It was a wonderful farewell, we all left with very warm memories of this dear lady! Thank you.
