We Ask God
In thinking about our day we may face indecision.
We may not be able to determine which course to
take. Here we ask God for inspiration, an intuitive
thought or a decision. We relax and take it easy. We
don’t struggle. We are often surprised how the right
answers come after we have tried this for a while.

Thought to Ponder
Today I pray over the things that I used to drink over.

Susan here, very grateful recovered alcoholic by God's Grace. Funny, was just reflecting on the various stages of prayer that have occurred for me over time and how it has changed significantly from earlier on...like even last year for example. I do recall a phase I went through where I simply wasn't sure what to do. The brain was going a hundred and fifty miles an hour which often happens to people like me. Trying to run the show and all, don't ya know. And then, I simply started directing all that "thinking" and "fixing" outward and upward. That's it. That was one of the first shifts that occurred for me, and it was the beginning of learning and growing and changing to where I am currently. Not too much thinking going on anymore. I don‘t have to. God has got me. My prayers now are short and sweet, just so I don‘t start sneaking in again and telling Him what to do. Thanks and blessings.
