Not a Glum Lot!
We have been speaking to you of serious, sometimes
tragic things. We have been dealing with alcohol in its
worst aspect. But we aren't a glum lot. If newcomers
could see no joy or fun in our existence, they wouldn't
want it. We absolutely insist on enjoying life.

My name is Mark, very grateful real alcoholic, recovered by the Grace of a loving God. Happy 2020 Everyone! It is already. Love to share from our Basic Text "Alcoholics Anonymous." I loved this line when I first read it. Not so serious finally! In this book full of confrontation and all.
