Practice These Principles
One of the most fundamental things I have learned is to pass on
our message to other alcoholics. That means I must think more
about others than about myself. The most important thing is to
practice these principles in all my affairs. In my opinion, that is
what Alcoholics Anonymous is all about.

Thought to Ponder
Grateful is a feeling. Gratitude is an action.

Hi All. Darrell, alcoholic. I start each day with the 3rd step prayer and meditate on the 11th step prayer, all encompasing. I realize just how blessed we are in AA. We are given a new design for life. We are given a tool box to reach in to and find that certain tool. And we have the Sunlight of the Spirit. I see so much chaos and fear in my normie friends during this time. It hurts my heart for they do not have the tools we have, or in having a place to come to share the message of hope. So in my daily life, I try to give of what I have been blessed with. I love doing detox meetings and working with the homeless. If you need a lil gratitude in your life, you can definitely find it there. I also work with our local food banks. We have lil boxes set up throughout the city with canned food. It's not all about me today .. its about We. So I pass the message that God has laid on my heart and the rewards are countless. Thank you for letting me share.
