AA Thought for the Day

In thinking about our day we may face indecision.
We may not be able to determine which course to
take. Here we ask God for inspiration, an intuitive
thought or a decision. We relax and take it easy. We
don’t struggle. We are often surprised how the right
answers come after we have tried this for a while.

Hi all. Phillip, alcoholic. We all were off the track or else we wouldn't be here. I just want to talk about letting God guide me. First it was out of desperation. I knew I was a screw up and was not going to try and run the show. As I got better my disease started poking its head back up. I said, as I got better hmmm... my disease got better at its job as well. So began the struggle that took a relapse to get my attention. Second chance I was much more serious. I held on with both hands. Spent time alone talking with GOD. Now when I get in a jam or a rush, I know all I have to do is stop at any moment in the day and say a prayer. What a relief from the Alcoholic life I had led! Thank you.
