Great Reality
Sometimes we had to search fearlessly, but He was there. He was
as much a fact as we were. We found the Great Reality deep down
within us. In the last analysis it is only there that He may be found.
It was so with us.

Chris, real Alcoholic. When I came in I was an Agnostic bordering on Atheism. Durning my drinking days I always saw these bad things happening to good people and thought to myself I want no part of this God. But when I was desperate enough, when I hit my bottom, I joined AA and was willing to go to any lengths to stay sober. The thing about God or Higher Power in AA. I was convinced that there was something in work within me because I was restored to sanity in Step Two when the obsession was removed. I had all the proof I needed that there was something that changed me within and as I practiced the remaining Steps that relationship became stronger and stronger. I am not the same person I was when I came in ... The 12 Steps brought me this far and I am not done yet ... never will end as I practice these principles in all my affairs to the best of my ability on a daily basis. I am free. Thanks.
