Happy, Joyous and Free
We are sure God wants us to be happy, joyous, and free. We cannot subscribe to
the belief that this life is a vale of tears, though it once was just that for many of us.
But it is clear that we made our own misery. God didn’t do it.

Susan here, very grateful recovered alcoholic by Gods Grace. I could be misguided...happens often enough, but I think that myself as well as others often "grade" our wellness by external measures. For me this whole program is ultimately about changing perspective and regardless of what is going on outside, I can see things in a different light now, a much more positive light. Freedom perhaps is my favorite word of the three mentioned. Freedom from the obsession to drink. Freedom from the bondage of self. Those two things alone are priceless. I consider myself and all of you here to be some of the most fortunate people on the planet. We have a design for living which if applied is phenomenal and that so many will never experience. We are blessed.
