Willing to Believe
Circumstances made him willing to believe. He humbly offered
himself to his Maker—then he knew. Even so has God restored
us all to our right minds. To this man, the revelation was sudden.
Some of us grow into it more slowly. But He has come to all
who have honestly sought Him. When we drew near to Him
He disclosed Himself to us!

My name is Jamie and I am an alcoholic. When I came here just over 3 years ago, I had lost faith and belief in gods and AA. I read somewhere it is harder to re-discover faith than it is to find it in the first place. There was a great struggle in me but luckily I had the hammer of desperation ready to sweep aside all troubles. I still don't know what I believe in. Honestly it changes all the time. But I know I am not the be all and end all. There is something far greater than me thankfully. I am learning of love and think perhaps that's all God is. Who knows? But turning things over to something outside of me has saved me and continues to do so. Thanks all.
