Our Next Step
We usually conclude the period of meditation with a prayer that
we be shown all through the day what our next step is to be, that
we be given whatever we need to take care of such problems.

- Alcoholics Anonymous, (Into Action) p. 87

Thought to Ponder
Prayer asks the question. Meditation listens for the answer.

Hi all. Garth, alky. In two days I am leaving for the USA for 9 days, GOD willing. And I have too much to get done before I leave. Without the tools I have learned through sobriety, I would be overwhelmed, and probably not get much done at all. So what I have learned is to stop and ask for guidance. What is the next right thing? Just do that and do not worry about the rest. That works for me. I like what a friend says when a troubled sponsee calls, asks a question and is in a worried state. "Did you PRAY?"
