Willing and Ready
Our stories disclose in a general way what we used to be like,
what happened, and what we are like now. If you have decided
you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to
get it—then you are ready to take certain steps.

Hello everyone. Isabella, alcoholic. I knew I was powerless long before I got here. Once the first thought of a drink came, the obsession took over and NOTHING could overcome it. I tried desperately to stop drinking on my own, begging God to help me. The obsession always won. He brought me here one morning. I said to Him...I will do whatever you ask of me. That was the difference for me. ONE very important thing. Getting sober and staying sober is a WE way of life, not an I way of life for me. I need all of you to stay sober, and that is how my Higher Power keeps me sober. Through you and trying to live the steps as best I can. Blessings everyone.
