No Regrets
We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness.
We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it.

Hi family, Paul here, a grateful recovering alcoholic. By God's grace and this Fellowship, I am alive and sober today. For years, I flew by the seat of my pants; running wild and leaving a path of destruction in my path. I lived in the past and in the future -- not knowing how to live for this day. In this program, and with the help of people in the program, I began to learn a new way of life. My sponsor spent many hours helping me to see and understand through working the Steps and looking at the real problem: Paul. Today there is life. Each morning, I awake and give thanks for this minute, this day, sometimes even this second. I no longer have to be ashamed of who I am or what I did in the past, for it is exactly that -- the past. Today, I can live that day to its fullest giving thanks for life. Thanks goes to God, AA, a good sponsor and all of you for teaching me how to live life sober and free. I thank you for my sobriety, and I love you all.
