Fellowship
Life will take on new meaning.
To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish,
to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends,
-- this is an experience you must not miss.
We know you will not want to miss it.

- Alcoholics Anonymous, p. 89

Thought to Ponder . . .

Hi Family, I'm Deb, and I am an alcoholic.  What a blessing is was to find my AA family both online and face-to-face.  Everyone here understands our disease and the journey we are on.  I am not afraid to speak about what's on my mind here; not afraid to cry at a meeting when I am hurting, nor am I afraid to share the joys of milestones.  You all get it.  You don't judge me or have expectations of me.  How wonderful it is to watch strangers come into AA, to listen to them share their fears, worries, and their worst times.  And then, week by week, month by month, watch them blossom and shine with the inner light of their HP; of the principles of the Steps.  No matter what is happening in 'Life 101' with me, I know I can share it with my AA family.  Chances are good, darn good, one of you have been there and can share your experience with me.  We are not alone!  By the Grace of God, the program of AA and the goodness of the Fellowship, I am sober today.
