The Solution
The tremendous fact for every one of us is that we have discovered a common solution.
We have a way out on which we can absolutely agree, and upon which we can join in brotherly and harmonious action.
This is the great news this book carries to those who suffer from alcoholism.

Hello, I'm Charlie J and I have Alcoholism. I'll keep this brief. Long before I hit bottom and came back to A.A. to stay, some of the "fellowship" had changed and continues to work on changing how A.A. works best. Sponsors? A.A. meetings? Slogans? These can be valuable "tools," but not one of them is the "solution" offered in the book, Alcoholics Anonymous. I had sponsors -- dear A.A. friends until the death of my last dear buddy 4 years ago. R.I.P Brad. I have attended thousands of meetings. Not one of these things removed my obsession to drink. I sit sometimes with my mouth open in disbelief at what is being passed off as A.A. recovery. It often seems that those who have the least to say insist on saying the most. If the new people are the most important people in A.A. as I have heard / read a 1,000 times then why in God’s name do we seem to do everything not to share with them the "solution?" The very one that has been saving Alcoholics from an Alcoholic death for 85 years? If you want to see what the real program is, read the book. Only then can you separate the recovery from the recovery B / S. "Keep it Simple." Thank you.
