Action

Good afternoon everyone, my name is Michael, and I am an alcoholic. "Never pass up an opportunity to express my gratitude," my first sponsor told me that the difference between thankfulness and gratitude is action. I am very active in my home group serving, but my favorite position is greeter. I love working with newcomers and seeing them grow in the Fellowship of AA. At times, I can see them grow more than I do. The first smile of relief and working the Steps with them is the "meat" of the program for me. I am a blessed man; I have food, shelter, family and friends, and love. I have come a long way in a short time due the power of my Higher Power and the 12 Steps. I am both thankful and grateful to be here. Thank you.
