Willingness
RARELY HAVE we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path.
Those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not,
completely give themselves to this simple program...

Good morning friends, Susan here, very grateful recovered alcoholic by God's Grace. I recently heard it said that, there are very few cannots, but many will nots. And from observation this is what I have found to be true. I was, for a time, a bit of a cannot. Could not get honest with myself, or others. Then I spent a long time being a Will Not. Couldn't turn my will over to a HP at all. Today however, by the Grace of God, I constantly seek not to settle at just enough to get by. I love to continue to grow and learn about each Step, and with an awesome relationship with God, I imagine I will never have to drink again. Blessings in your journey.
