Any Length

If you have decided you want what we have and are willing to go to any length
to get it—then you are ready to take certain steps.  At some of these
we balked.
We thought we could find an easier, softer way.  But we could not.

Thought to Ponder . . .
Sobriety without action is fantasy.

Morning all, I'm Bill one more grouchy ol' drunk.  I had changed routines early in my sobriety without even knowing it.  I wanted what I saw in sober folks more than anything.  Folks would tell me, "You want what we have, do what we did."  Ol' 13 boot had two phrases he used daily.  That was one.  The other was, "It's in the book."   So while I'm doing what was suggested (sometimes forcefully)  my routines were changing and I didn't even notice.  I have a belly button Birthday next Friday, and I've been sober over half my life....... so far its been worth it.  Thanks.
