Step Seven
When ready, we say something like this: "My Creator, I am now willing
that you should have all of me, good and bad. I pray that you now remove
from me every single defect of character which stands in the way of my
usefulness to you and my fellows. Grant me strength, as I go out from here,
to do your bidding. Amen." We have then completed Step Seven.

Thought to Ponder
I can't; God can; I'll ask Him to.

My name is Tom and I'm an alcoholic. I think the biggest blow out my wife ever had was when I said, "Just because you're mad, doesn't mean that I have to be." And that pretty much sums up anger. Anger was a real problem for me and I fought with it tooth and nail until I finally did a proper 7th step with it. I asked God to REMOVE it rather than the old way of asking him to HELP ME fix it. Thank you for being here for me.
