Dependence
And the facts seem to be these: The more we become willing
to depend upon a Higher Power, the more independent we
actually are. Therefore dependence, as A.A. practices it, is
really a means of gaining true independence of the spirit.

Thought to Ponder
Avoidance is not the key; surrender opens the door.

Morning All. Darrell, alcoholic. God has been speaking to me concerning certain issues in my life. I have become more willing to turn over these issues, there is freedom in doing so. Making those decisions to let them go, I find my life is changing for the better. The weight in my life has been lifted and I realize God is filling the emptiness. This is all coming during health problems, and I have turned those over also. It's almost a spiritual experience again I give all to God daily to be able to do His will. I feel the cleansing of His work in my life and its a beautiful gift that He gives me, with me giving my sobriety back to Him. Thanks for letting me share.
