Higher Power
They flatly declare that since they have come to believe in a Power
greater than themselves, to take a certain attitude toward that Power,
and to do certain simple things, there has been a revolutionary change
in their way of living and thinking. In the face of collapse and despair,
in the face of the total failure of their human resources, they found that
a new power, peace, happiness, and sense of direction flowed into them.

Chris, grateful alcoholic! Kinda like someone else said on the self will. More hard headed, insisting on doing things my way! I remember the times when I would get smashed singing the song "I Did It My Way." Lack of Power was my dilemma. It wasn't about will. I have a disease that will take any opportunity to defeat me. I had to surrender my will to My Higher Power/God. Out of that weakness HP gave me tremendous strength to give up that terrible fight! HP gives me the power I need for the day I am in. Following and living the steps lead to a life beyond my dreams. Thank God for AA & All of YOU! Thanks for being here this morning!
