Simple Program
In the following chapter, there appears an explanation of alcoholism, as we
understand it, then a chapter addressed to the agnostic. Many who once
were in this class are now among our members. Surprisingly enough, we
find such convictions no great obstacle to a spiritual experience. Further
on, clear-cut directions are given showing how we recovered.

Thought to Ponder
While it isn't always easy, if I keep it simple, it works.

Morning all and thanks so very much. Susan, very grateful recovered alcoholic by Grace. Something I did not experience or witness for quite some time in AA is the simplicity of the program. Ego loves to complicate and old ideas got in the way. I notice how where I live at least, far too many people are not willing to sponsor. I can only guess that either they are still too self centered, aren't sure or don't know what our program is. Think it is far too time consuming for them or fear and ego. Who knows? It took me forever to experience the simplicity. Now that I have, it is amazing. I try and pay attention to avoid getting all caught up in various methods of helping and stick to the book as much as possible. It really works...or at least it has for me. Keep it simple. One slogan that I do like. [laugh] Continued Grace all.
