Absolute Certainty
The central fact of our lives today is the absolute certainty that
our Creator has entered into our hearts and lives in a way which
is indeed miraculous. He has commenced to accomplish those
things for us which we could never do by ourselves.

- Alcoholics Anonymous, (There Is A Solution) p. 25

Thought to Ponder
Nobody ever found recovery as a
result of an intellectual awakening.

AA-related 'Alconym'
A A  =  Amazing Awakening.

Morning all and thanks so very much. Susan, very grateful recovered alcoholic by Grace. Not a topic I discuss well perhaps, however will share something that I am reminded of this morning. Several years back I received a gift, not from the head but from the heart. Generally it comes in the silent moments. It was, "The less I think, the more I know." Not in an intellectual sense of knowing but in the knowing or awareness of a Power Greater. For me, the peace, freedom and serenity come when all is quiet not when I am trying to analyze and figure things out. What I am aware of is that I no longer think and therefore feel or act anything like I once did and I am much more aware of something far Bigger than I. I didn't earn it. It just happened when those things that block me, got unblocked. Grateful for it all. Thanks.
