True Independence
And the facts seem to be these: The more we become willing
to depend upon a Higher Power, the more independent we
actually are. Therefore dependence, as A.A. practices it, is
really a means of gaining true independence of the spirit.

Thought to Ponder

Hello everyone. Isabella, alcoholic. Good to be with you this morning. Trusting in God increases independence and also freedom for me. Freedom from fear of making mistakes. What will others think? Is this His will, my will? Confusion. Taking each day as it comes whatever it brings. Sometimes joy, sadness, disappointment. Remaining peaceful as best I can. Being gentle with myself and others. And knowing no matter what, God's loving will and presence is always there. So grateful to be able to try to live this way, have some self awareness and not be captive to my reactions. Freedom. Blessings everyone.
