Complacency
In the first days of A.A., I wasn't much bothered about the
areas of life in which I was standing still. There was always
the alibi: "After all," I said to myself, "I'm far too busy with
much more important matters." That was my near perfect
prescription for comfort and complacency.

Chris, alcoholic. Real grateful to be here sober! The weekend was peaceful and restful. Sometime I drift into complacency. I ask God to please help me. I get into those days and I take on reading, cleaning, grandkids or whatever. For I realize that it's by God's grace I get to share another day with you and this world. So anyway, its a great day to be sober! Thanks for letting me share!
