Attitude and Outlook
That feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear.
We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest
in our fellows. Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole
attitude and outlook upon life will change.
- Alcoholics Anonymous, (Into Action) p. 84
Thought to Ponder
New ideals and new attitudes bring a new life.
AA-related 'Alconym'

Hi. My name is Rich and I'm an alcoholic. I can be my own worst enemy. It's my selfishness and pride that I really have to overcome. I do fairly well with it most of the time but I have to be mindful of it. Catch it before it becomes a problem. Self-seeking will leave us. That's what the promises say, as long as I keep working at this one day at a time. Thanks for letting me share.
