Discover the Truth
A business which takes no regular inventory usually goes broke. Taking a
commercial inventory is a fact-finding and a fact-facing process. It is an
effort to discover the truth about the stock-in trade. One object is to disclose
damaged or unsalable goods, to get rid of them promptly and without regret.
. . . We did exactly the same thing with our lives. We took stock honestly.

Thought to Ponder
While it isn't always easy, if I keep it simple, it works.

Morning everyone, I am a alky and the problem is Tom. I remember when I was doing my 4th step, my sponsor asked me how much I had gotten done. I said, I am almost done. Seems like everyone I knew had that answer, who were dragging their feet like me. So what he did with me, was tell me to do column one and then take it to him. He did that with the rest of the columns. Than it was time for a little thorough talk. By the time I got that far my mind began to open up. You see, I learned that step 4 isn't about who is right or who is wrong. I believe its' purpose is to make us accept we have flaws in our makeup. Thanks for letting me share.
