God

We finally saw that faith in some kind of God was a part of our make-up,
just as much as the feeling we have for a friend. Sometimes we had to
search fearlessly, but He was there.

Thought to Ponder . . .
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't,
than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.

Hi everyone Craig here, an alkie from Kentucky, USA.  “Filling The Void”—hmmm.  Well, the definition of VOID is “a completely empty space.  Vacuum, emptiness, nothingness, nullity, blankness, vacuity; anyway, that’s some of the definition.  For me, I fill that void every day with my Higher Power who I choose to call God along with praise to Him and it also keeps me from being lonely and sometimes complacent.  I used to fill that hole with beer cans if you could ever fill such a whole.  I couldn’t throw them in any faster.  I could never fill that void with beer cans and liquor bottles.  It’s hard to explain, but God makes me feel complete.  Like I said, I don’t feel lonely.  I fill that empty malady with Spiritual Maintenance.  I don’t feel empty today; my life has taken on new meaning.  Thank you all, and God bless.
