Independence
And the facts seem to be these: The more we become willing to depend
upon a Higher Power, the more independent we actually are.
Therefore dependence, as A.A. practices it,
is really a means of gaining true independence of the spirit.
- Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, p. 36

Thought to Ponder . . .
If faith without works is dead;
then willingness without action is fantasy.

AA-related 'Alconym' . . .
H O W = Honesty, Open-mindedness, Willingness.

Thanks to all of you for sharing so generously of your experience, strength and hope in carrying the AA message.
Blessings in sobriety to all.
In grateful service,
peyton h
