Action
It works—it really does. We alcoholics are undisciplined.
So we let God discipline us in the simple way we have just outlined.
But this is not all. There is action and more action.
"Faith without works is dead."
- Alcoholics Anonymous, p. 88
Thought to Ponder
Sobriety without action is fantasy.

Pammy and I have alcoholism. Early days in sobriety, I was still using isolation to keep me from getting well. I used a lot of excuses to prevent me from doing the suggested steps. The main one was, "First I need to get better before I go to real meetings and get a sponsor." Well that failed miserably. I need to work the steps, take action, so I can get better. And that has been working. I go to meetings, reach out whenever I can, and stopped getting into my head. Was easier than I thought it would be too. I didn't come to AA to make friends and compare boo boos from my drinking career. I came to find a new way of life, friends were the bonus. So to all those new or coming back, test your comfort zones of what's holding you back, and see how limitless our hopes and faith becomes. Thank you.
