Growing
First, we take a look backward and try to discover where we have
been at fault; next we make a vigorous attempt to repair the damage
we have done; and third, having thus cleaned away the debris of the
past, we consider how, with our newfound knowledge of ourselves, we
may develop the best possible relations with every human being we know.

Thought to Ponder
It is the highest form of self-respect to admit mistakes
and to make amends for them.

Pammy and I have alcoholism. The first couple steps were as I learned, all about me. And after the 5th I was preparing myself to make it about others. Step 9 was about trying to correct my past behaviour towards others I have harmed. No matter if I felt I was justified or not. I see now that I can handle things better and I do that daily through a living amends. I approach this step with no expectations of being forgiven. All I work for is to be the person my HP knows I can be. I flub it up at times but my fellowship has my back and trust me that I can take constructive criticism. They want the best for me and I for them, its about growing. Thank you.
