I Am Responsible . . .
When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help,
I want the hand of A.A. always to be there.
And for that: I am responsible.

I may be the only "Big Book" another alcoholic has seen.

Pammy and I have alcoholism. For me the hardest thing was putting myself out there and asking for help from strangers. All those fears I had, like judgement and humiliation, had to take second seat I was that desperate. All I wanted was to understand what was happening to me and I was taken aside by a few to break it down to me. I never once expected to stay on. Yet here I am, happy that my fears though not real, couldn't anchor me away from what I needed to do and obtain sobriety. Thank God for his guidance and the fellowship for reaching out to me. Thank you.
