All Power
Without help it is too much for us. But there is One who has all
power—that One is God. May you find Him now! Half measures
availed us nothing. We stood at the turning point. We asked His
protection and care with complete abandon.
- Alcoholics Anonymous, (How It Works) p. 59
Thought to Ponder
We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us
what we could not do for ourselves.

Morning all and thanks so very much. Susan, very grateful recovered alcoholic by Grace. Ever heard the following? "I am working on it." Definitely something I have said many times in the past. Seems to me that implies that I still think or believe that I've got the power. Maybe even that I am The Power. Nope. Most definitely not. It's a great consideration, at least for me. When I think nothing and when I "do" nothing, that seems to be when I am aligned with Life. Yes, things still get done, still work, still live etc. Just be in the moment. When that happens, its peaceful, it just is and that's freedom for me personally. It's only when I start thinking again that I hit snags. Thanks all, continued Grace and growth.
