Step Three
Many of us said to our Maker, as we understood Him:
"God, I offer myself to Thee—to build with me and to do with me as
Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy
will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness
to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life.
May I do Thy will always!"

Hi Family... Darrell, Alcoholic. My sponsor and I talked about the 3rd step. We talked about God as we understood Him. He knew of my spiritual beliefs. He felt it was time to pray. So we went onto his porch and kneeled down and did the 3rd step prayer. I felt a change in my heart. I felt God. My sponsor said I was glowing in my face and it brought a glow to the porch. God knows my heart. He is with me and leads me. Another miracle of AA. Thanks for letting me share.
