Self-Propulsion
Most people try to live by self-propulsion. Each person is like an actor
who wants to run the whole show; is forever trying to arrange the
lights, the ballet, the scenery and the rest of the players in his own
way. If his arrangements would only stay put, if only people would
do as he wished, the show would be great.

My name is Mark, grateful recovered alcoholic, by the Grace of a God I was afraid to believe in. Besides, God must have no taste, since he's always sticking with me, me and me and loves me always. [laugh] I love this topic today, I sure did not a while ago. I didn't think, "Ah nice, that's me," when I read those things first time. Instead I thought something like, "So this is about those who are a lot worse than me, me and me right?" I am a slow student. And it proves the point. I am very well capable of finding all kinds of creative ways, without even realizing to make it about me. But... what I try to do today, is not to ask myself: "Am I doing that again?" But instead: "WHERE or HOW am I doing exactly that this time?" That seems to work pretty well (for the times I do it.) I am far from perfect. But today, I truly believe, being loving to others, is what makes happiness in the end. It's not something to aim for, my happiness I mean. Thy Will be done. Love others, and life is pretty good. Thank You God, thanks principles, and thank you all in this fellowship.
