Consequences
In some circumstances we have gone out deliberately to get drunk,
feeling ourselves justified by nervousness, anger, worry, depression,
jealousy or the like. But even in this type of beginning we are obliged
to admit that our justification for a spree was insanely insufficient
in the light of what always happened.

- Alcoholics Anonymous, (More About Alcoholism) p. 37

Thought to Ponder
When I choose the behavior, I choose the consequences.

AA-related 'Alconym'
A L E  =   Alibis Lies Excuses.

Thanks to all of you for sharing so generously of your experience, strength and hope in carrying the AA message.
Grateful to serve,
peyton
