For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority—a
loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience.
Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern.

Hi, I'm Ira and I am an alcoholic. Great shares today. I am reminded of being at an Area Service Assembly a while back. There was much debate on a motion and the Chair Brian said, let's take a ten minute break and think about Tradition Two. A Loving God. Wow what a concept I thought! We came back from the break and Brian asked if there was any more discussion and there was not. We passed the motion easily. When I have God in my thoughts instead of the committee in my head things are much easier. The promises come true for me when I let God direct my will. Thanks.
